Pedro Duron vs Rodrigo Amor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Apollo, San Jose,  taking place on 13/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pedro Duron (12 - 8(2)) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Rodrigo Amor(3(1) - 2) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Duron and Amor weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Esteban Macario, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Fanta, Oihane Clavijo and Sierra Abela.  

Round 1: 

Duron closes the distance.  Duron quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Duron tries to land a right hook, but Amor blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
