Aimon Tejada vs Fresco Marcello

Boxing Daily Report from the Tlolane Promotions promoted show at Santiago de los Caba Oliva, Santiago de los Caballeros,  taking place on 13/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aimon Tejada (18(8) - 3(1)) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Fresco Marcello(6 - 12(1) - 2) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Tejada weighed in at 105 pounds, while Marcello weighed in at 105 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Marcello came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Garzon, and the three ringside judges are Roman Avendano, Diego Acevedo and Rogelio Coca.  

Round 1: 

Tejada steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Tejada sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Tejada pivots from in front of his opponent.  As Tejada tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Marcello dabs at his face checking for damage.  Marcello has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Tejada closes the distance.  Tejada sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tejada tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tejada walks Marcello down, trapping him in the corner.  Tejada drives a firm right hook into Marcello's ribs.  
Tejada sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tejada digs in a telling left hook to his opponents body.  MARCELLO IS HURT!  Marcello recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tejada digs in a right uppercut to Marcello's ribs.  
Tejada hits home with a sharp left hook.  Tejada holds on to his opponent.  Tejada is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Marcello throws a right hook, but Tejada ties up his opponent.  Tejada pushes his forearm into Marcello's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Tejada is looking to close the distance.  Tejada pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marcello almost instantly recovers.

Tejada walks Marcello onto the ropes.  Tejada quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tejada pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
It looks like Marcello has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Tejada tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Marcello's kidney. Tejada is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Tejada is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tejada lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marcello almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tejada closes the distance.  Marcello pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tejada drives a left hook into his opponents body.
