Alastair Taylor vs Kai Pouwhare

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Promotions promoted show at Wellington Bowman, Wellington,  taking place on 14/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alastair Taylor (8(6) - 1(1)) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Kai Pouwhare(14 - 2(1)) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Taylor and Pouwhare weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Erorangi Muunu, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Laurie, Mark Dew and Geoff Symington.  

Round 1: 

Taylor digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Taylor lands two left hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Taylor lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Taylor closes the distance.  Taylor stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Taylor lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND POUWHARE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Pouwhare now seems to have his senses back.  
Taylor is looking to close the distance and is on target with a FEARSOME right uppercut.  POUWHARE IS HURT!  Pouwhare recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Taylor drives a left hook into Pouwhare's ribs.  
Taylor digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Pouwhare lands a left hook.

Taylor lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Taylor connects with a telling left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE POUWHARE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Taylor closes the distance.  Pouwhare lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Pouwhare throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a MASSIVE right hook.  Pouwhare now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Taylor lands a firm cross.  
Taylor steps inside.  Pouwhare hits home with a left hook.  Pouwhare throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Taylor lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Taylor digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Taylor is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
