Lazar Orudzhev vs Evgeny Shamhalov

Boxing Daily Report from the Pungwayo Promotions promoted show at Dushanbe Rizaev, Dushanbe,  taking place on 15/01/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Tajikistan Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Varzish TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lazar Orudzhev (5(3) - 3(1)) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Evgeny Shamhalov(6 - 2 - 1) from Khujand, Tajikistan.  Both Orudzhev and Shamhalov weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zamin Salmanov, and the three ringside judges are Dmitriy Backir, Lazar Yalgondin and Qiyas Abutalybov.  

Round 1: 

Orudzhev steps inside.  Shamhalov pivots from in front of his opponent.  Shamhalov throws a right hook, but Orudzhev clinches his opponent.  Orudzhev leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Shamhalov pushes his forearm into Orudzhev's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shamhalov.  
Orudzhev advances into close range and drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Orudzhev gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Orudzhev digs in a left uppercut to Shamhalov's body.  
Orudzhev lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.

Orudzhev advances into close range.  Orudzhev sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.

Orudzhev drives a sharp right hook into Shamhalov's body.  Orudzhev wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shamhalov dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Orudzhev forces Shamhalov to retreat into the corner.  Orudzhev lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Orudzhev holds on to his opponent.  Orudzhev is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Orudzhev lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Orudzhev ties up his opponent.  Orudzhev is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Orudzhev and breaks the clinch.  
Orudzhev is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Orudzhev pushes his forearm into Shamhalov's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Orudzhev.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shamhalov dabs at his face checking for damage.  Shamhalov has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Shamhalov switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Orudzhev sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Orudzhev steps inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Orudzhev lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Orudzhev ties up his opponent.  Orudzhev is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Orudzhev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Shamhalov quickly recovers.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Orudzhev has taken some damage there.  That has caused damage to the nose.  
Shamhalov hits the target with a solid jab.  
Orudzhev steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Orudzhev clinches his opponent.  Orudzhev leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Orudzhev gets on the inside.  Orudzhev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Orudzhev lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Orudzhev closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Shamhalov's body.
