Afon Pozniak vs Symon Mikus

Boxing Daily Report from the Sakuwaha Promotions promoted show at Dnipropetrovsk Basara, Dnipropetrovsk,  taking place on 15/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Afon Pozniak (19 - 12(3) - 5) who hails from Odessa, Ukraine and Symon Mikus(27(7) - 13(2) - 1) from Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.  Pozniak weighed in at 154 pounds and 10 ounces, while Mikus weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Pozniak came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Bohdan Dzik, and the three ringside judges are Fadei Savrasenko, Kolya Machnik and Kolya Machnik.  

Round 1:

Mikus has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
