Simon Jacob vs Ross Marques

Boxing Daily Report from the Mnyamane Promotions promoted show at Abidjan Longo, Abidjan,  taking place on 16/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Simon Jacob (4 - 2 - 1) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Ross Marques(24(19) - 6(4)) from Abobo, Ivory Coast.  Jacob weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces, while Marques weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vermont Oriol, and the three ringside judges are Yves de Laroche, Sinjon Ferro and Trystan Basque.  

Round 1:
