Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Nishihara, Sapporo,  taking place on 16/01/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michi Ashikaga (21 - 5(3)) who hails from Hakodate, Japan and Daichi Takaki(11 - 5(1)) from Kyoto, Japan.  Ashikaga weighed in at 129 pounds And 12 ounces, while Takaki weighed in at 130 pounds.
