Nicandro Zara vs Ramirez Tigas

Boxing Daily Report from the Knockout Promotions promoted show at Cebu City Guanlao, Cebu City,  taking place on 18/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nicandro Zara (37(35) - 6(1)) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Ramirez Tigas(21(4) - 6(2) - 1) from Lapu-Lapu, Philippines.  Both Zara and Tigas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Miguel Gannod, and the three ringside judges are Eduardo Macalam, Urvano Delangel and Jair Puyot.
