Gus McBay vs Joshua McCard

Boxing Daily Report from the Knoetze Promotions promoted show at Perth Shevchuk, Perth,  taking place on 18/01/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus McBay (18 - 18(4) - 2 - 1(NC)) who hails from Perth, Australia and Joshua McCard(1 - 14(1) - 1) from Perth, Australia.  McBay weighed in at 126 pounds, while McCard weighed in at 126 pounds and 9 ounces.    As McCard came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jack Swavely, and the three ringside judges are Matt Dickins, John Clark and Chris Vaughn.
