Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Wales promoted show at Cardiff Sloss, Cardiff,  taking place on 18/01/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lucas Madoc (12(7) - 2(1)) who hails from Swansea, UK and Gareth Evans(4 - 12(2) - 1) from Swansea, UK.  Madoc weighed in at 200 pounds, while Evans weighed in at 199 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Terry Lyons, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Gillespie, Glyn Bowen and Mark MacNevin.  

Round 1: 

Madoc lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Madoc quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Evans lands a cross.  
Madoc sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into Evans's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Madoc dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Madoc is looking to close the distance.  Evans throws a left uppercut, but Madoc holds on to his opponent.  Madoc pushes his forearm into Evans's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Madoc lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Madoc drives a stinging left hook into Evans's body.  
Madoc hits home with a left hook.  
Madoc is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Madoc forces Evans to retreat onto the ropes.  Madoc drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Madoc is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Madoc clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Madoc pushes his forearm into Evans's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Madoc lands a stinging cross.  
Madoc steps inside and digs in a right hook to Evans's body.  
Evans quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Evans throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Madoc gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Madoc closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Madoc quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Evans's ribcage.  
Madoc lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Evans recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Madoc manouvers Evans onto the ropes.  Madoc lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Evans lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Evans's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Evans's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Evans's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Madoc steps inside.  Evans throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Madoc clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Madoc pushes his forearm into Evans's face.  The ref breaks Madoc's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Madoc advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Madoc lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Madoc drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Madoc drives a left hook into Evans's ribs.  Madoc clinches his opponent.  Madoc is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Madoc pushes his forearm into Evans's face.  The referee warns Madoc and breaks the clinch.  
Madoc lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Madoc holds on to his opponent.  Madoc uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Evans behind the head. Evans almost instantly recovers. 
Evans throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Madoc gets on the inside.  Madoc pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp right hook.  
Evans advances into close range.  Madoc lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Madoc lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Madoc finds the target with a jab.  
Madoc gets on the inside and digs in a sharp left hook to Evans's liver.  EVANS IS HURT!  Madoc ties up his opponent.  Madoc tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Evans's kidney. Madoc is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Madoc's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Evans almost instantly recovers. 
Madoc sidesteps to the left of his opponent and whips in a nasty right uppercut to Evans's body.  EVANS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Madoc pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Madoc manouvers Evans into a corner.  Madoc pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook to Evans's ribcage.
