Joaquin Lona vs Santiago Gonzalez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Aceves, Quito,  taking place on 21/01/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Lona (5 - 11 - 3) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Santiago Gonzalez(9 - 4 - 1) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Lona and Gonzalez weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Buitrago, and the three ringside judges are Enzo Roque, Desiderio Medero and Manuel Moralez.  

Round 1: 

Gonzalez lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lona closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Gonzalez holds on to his opponent.  Gonzalez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Gonzalez is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
