Obaid Akhtar vs Robert Hastie

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Hisense Arena, Melbourne,  taking place on 04/02/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Obaid OBEY Akhtar (42(28) - 2) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Robert Hastie(15(10) - 6) from Brisbane, Australia.  Akhtar weighed in at 159 pounds And 15 ounces, while Hastie weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Givan, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Barfoot, Nathan Savas and Leighton McPherson.
