Roger McNorton vs Sam Kidd

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at McKellar Park, Canberra,  taking place on 17/02/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Roger McNorton (32(14) - 2(1)) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Sam Kidd(2 - 24(4) - 2) from Gold Coast, Australia.  McNorton weighed in at 115 pounds, while Kidd weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Neil Cookston, and the three ringside judges are Bob Ivory, Bob Ivory and Danny McCornack.

Kidd closes the distance.  McNorton DETONATES a spiteful left hook on his opponents face.  DOWN GOES KIDD!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT KIDD CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is McNorton!
