Neper Palomares vs Oleos Ongoy

Boxing Daily Report from the Maghakian Promotions promoted show at Cebu City Corzo, Cebu City,  taking place on 31/01/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neper Palomares (39(2) - 19(11) - 4) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Oleos Ongoy(8 - 7 - 2) from Lapu-Lapu, Philippines.  Both Palomares and Ongoy weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bronco Aplaon, and the three ringside judges are Rob Camcam, Felix Tanopo and Arran Bugnosen.  

Round 1: 

Palomares is looking to close the distance and walks Ongoy down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Palomares is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  As Palomares tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ongoy dabs at his face checking for damage.
