Joe Mpala vs Nathan Van Heerden

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 29/01/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Mpala (18 - 19 - 9) who hails from Soshanguve, South Africa and Nathan Van Heerden(13 - 15(3)) from Soshanguve, South Africa.  Mpala weighed in at 130 pounds, while Van Heerden weighed in at 130 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Van Heerden came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Dume Aidoo, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Mulder, Michael Grobbelaar and Aenas Van der Walt.
