Jack Dermott vs Peter MacBride

Boxing Daily Report from the HBLUE Promotions promoted show at Coronet Theatre, London,  taking place on 28/01/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jack Dermott (5(1) - 0) who hails from Sunderland, UK and Peter MacBride(2 - 5 - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Dermott weighed in at 154 pounds, while MacBride weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Byrne, and the three ringside judges are Clint Irvine, John Ahearn and Ashley Gilkeson.

Dermott is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Dermott lands a big left hook.  MACBRIDE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Dermott lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two right hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS MACBRIDE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Dermott!
