Jake Harcus vs Mel Cour

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Nevada promoted show at Las Vegas Tweedy, Las Vegas,  taking place on 07/02/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nevada Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jake Harcus (19(1) - 6(1)) who hails from North Las Vegas, USA and Mel Cour(20 - 21 - 5) from Las Vegas, USA.  Harcus weighed in at 139 pounds And 9 ounces, while Cour weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ellis Slight, and the three ringside judges are Alec Rees, George Ramo and David Finnie.  

Round 1: 

Harcus lands a spiteful jab.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Harcus.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Harcus tries to step out of his opponents range.  Harcus quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Harcus steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.
