Jacob Matthew vs Dan Merson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Dan Hilson Gym, Rockford,  taking place on 07/02/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jacob Matthew (3 - 11(1) - 1) who hails from Chicago, USA and Dan Merson(9 - 16 - 2) from Joliet, USA.  Matthew weighed in at 146 pounds and 3 ounces, while Merson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ethan Bukowski, and the three ringside judges are Michael Denoon, Ewan Humphries and Davie Grocholski.
