Alen Markle vs Rex Sim

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Glendale Juliana, Glendale,  taking place on 14/02/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alen Markle (14 - 23 - 6) who hails from Austin, USA and Rex Sim(34(29) - 7(2) - 1 - 1(NC)) from Yuma, USA.  Both Markle and Sim weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Weir, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Kinnison, Richie Rezin and Paul Pilar.  

Round 1: 

Sim is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Sim ties up his opponent.  Markle leans on his opponent using all his weight. Sim is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sim lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Sim holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Sim pushes his forearm into Markle's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sim about fouling.  
Sim walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Sim digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent using all his weight. Markle throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Markle to stop fouling.  
Sim drives a stinging left hook into Markle's body.  Sim ties up his opponent.  Markle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Sim pushes his forearm into Markle's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sim lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sim digs in a stinging right hook to Markle's body.  
Sim lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sim lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Sim ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sim pushes his forearm into Markle's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sim lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Sim attempts to land a left uppercut, but Markle parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Sim pivots from in front of his opponent andAs Markle tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sim dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sim lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Sim lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sim lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Markle throws a left uppercut, but Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sim quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and crashes a spiteful right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  MARKLE IS HURT!  
Sim is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Sim drives a powerful left hook into Markle's body.  MARKLE IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Markle has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Sim lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Sim attempts to land a left hook, but Markle blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sim lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Sim ties up his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Sim is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sim to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Markle's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Markle's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Markle's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Sim is on target with a cross.  
Sim closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sim steps inside.  Markle throws a right uppercut, but Sim holds on to his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sim forces Markle to retreat onto the ropes.  Markle throws a right uppercut, but Sim holds on to his opponent.  Sim tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Markle behind the head. 
Sim lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sim to stop holding.  
Sim lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sim forces Markle to back into a corner.  Sim lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sim crashes a big left uppercut to his opponents body.  MARKLE IS HURT!  Markle quickly recovers. 
Sim lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Markle switches the action to the outside.  Sim lands two straights to the body, and one to the head.  
Sim closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Sim digs in a left hook to Markle's body.  
Sim lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Sim advances into close range and forces Markle to back into the corner.  Sim senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Sim lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND MARKLE IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Sim lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES MARKLE!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Sim lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Sim!
