Alfonso Machado vs Carlos Montenegro

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Ginásio Poliesportivo José Corrêa, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 28/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alfonso Machado (20(14) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Carlos Montenegro(18 - 5(3) - 1) from Goiania, Brazil.  Machado weighed in at 246 pounds and 13 ounces, while Montenegro weighed in at 227 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Martins, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Macedo, Ricardo Gonsalez and Luis Araujo.
