Thierry Bertrand vs Curtis Kotto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Extreme-Nord promoted show at Maroua Maheux, Maroua,  taking place on 18/02/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Extreme-Nord Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thierry Bertrand (6 - 15(2)) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and Curtis Kotto(36(6) - 9(1)) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Both Bertrand and Kotto weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sergeant Mabouka, and the three ringside judges are Albain Nguekam, Grant Loga and Gareth Gaudin.

Some sustained pressure from Kotto could be enough to finish Bertrand!  Kotto SLAMS a FIERCE cross into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES BERTRAND!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Bertrand now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Kotto steps to the outside.  Kotto feints a left hook, and then is on target with a spiteful jab.

Kotto manouvers Bertrand into the red corner.  Kotto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a sharp right hook to Bertrand's ribs.  
Bertrand is looking to keep his distance.  Kotto lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Kotto walks Bertrand down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kotto connects with a left hook.
