Fo-hsing Tung vs Zhuang Chiu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Shandong promoted show at Quon Yu Gym, Jinan,  taking place on 20/02/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Shandong Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fo-hsing Tung (5 - 2 - 3) who hails from Jinan, China and Zhuang Chiu(3 - 12 - 2) from Linyi, China.  Both Tung and Chiu weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Quan, and the three ringside judges are Jing Auyang, Manchu Chin and Shen Kong.  

Round 1: 

Tung attempts to land a jab, but Chiu blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Chiu walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Chiu is on target with a jab.  
Tung steps to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Chiu tries to land a cross, but Tung dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chiu's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Tung closes the distance.  Chiu pivots to the left of his opponent.  Chiu tries to land a right uppercut, but Tung sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Tung steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Tung quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chiu tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Chiu is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross to Tung's body.  
Tung lands a cross.

Tung is looking to close the distance.  Tung pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chiu dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tung closes the distance and manages to force Chiu into a neutral corner.  Tung pivots to the side of his opponent.  Chiu lands a right hook.  
Tung is on target with a right uppercut.  
Tung pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Chiu drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Tung hits home with a right hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tung has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
