Sergeant Cruguet vs Gaston Papineau

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Aquitaine promoted show at Bordeaux Garros, Bordeaux,  taking place on 22/02/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the France-Aquitaine Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sergeant Cruguet (3 - 1 - 1) who hails from Bordeaux, France and Gaston Papineau(8 - 2 - 2) from Bordeaux, France.  Both Cruguet and Papineau weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blaise Desnos, and the three ringside judges are Bayard Carlin, Emmanuel Malraux and Luc Christophe.  

Round 1: 

Cruguet tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Papineau closes the distance.  Cruguet pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Papineau digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Cruguet drives a left hook into Papineau's body.  
Papineau drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Papineau steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Cruguet throws a left hook, but Papineau ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Papineau digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Papineau quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cruguet drives a left hook into Papineau's body.

Cruguet throws a left hook, but Papineau ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Cruguet pushes his forearm into Papineau's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cruguet.  
As Papineau tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cruguet dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Cruguet hits home with a right hook.  
Cruguet closes the distance.  Papineau attempts to land a left hook, but Cruguet sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Cruguet drives a right hook into Papineau's body.  
Papineau lands a left hook.

Papineau is looking to close the distance.  Cruguet lands a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Cruguet has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Papineau sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Papineau throws a left uppercut, but misses the target.  Papineau holds on to his opponent.  Papineau is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Papineau about fouling.  
Cruguet steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Cruguet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cruguet hits home with a left hook.  Cruguet attempts to land a left hook, but Papineau sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
