Corey Rodgerson vs Dominic Riddle

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 10/03/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Corey Rodgerson (39(36) - 5(1)) who hails from Markham, Canada and Dominic Riddle(17(9) - 1(1) - 1) from Brampton, Canada.  Rodgerson weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces, while Riddle weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Destin Dauphin, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Smith, Granger Hinault and Verrier Luna.

Rodgerson sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Rodgerson lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING RIDDLE DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  The ref asks Riddle to get his gloves up, but he doesnt respond.  The ref has waved the fight off...he doesnt think Riddle can continue!  The winner by TKO is Rodgerson!
