Hisoka Kubota vs Taro Okamura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Osaka Miyoshi, Osaka,  taking place on 24/02/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hisoka Kubota (13 - 10(2) - 2) who hails from Takatsuki, Japan and Taro Okamura(5 - 1) from Osaka, Japan.  Kubota weighed in at 175 pounds, while Okamura weighed in at 174 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Kudo, and the three ringside judges are Aoi Nishikawa, Akira Iha and Yuji Koizumi.  

Round 1:

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Okamura dabs at his face checking for damage.  Okamura has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
