Hisoka Tanabe vs Goro Shibata

Boxing Daily Report from the Sam Promotions promoted show at Takeo Yoshida Gym, Fukuoka,  taking place on 27/02/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hisoka Tanabe (9 - 3 - 2) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Goro Shibata(13 - 9(1) - 3) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Tanabe and Shibata weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Murayama, and the three ringside judges are Nao Kuse, Satoshi Murata and Fumio Hara.  

Round 1: 

Tanabe is on target with a cross.
