Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 24/03/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Whittet (27(21) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Hamilton, Canada and Connor Ainsley(50(4) - 7(2)) from Quebec City, Canada.  Both Whittet and Ainsley weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Marvingt, and the three ringside judges are Gerard Segalen, Varocher Painchaud and Simon Barra.  

Round 1: 

Whittet lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Whittet steps away from his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Whittet is on target with a jab.  
Ainsley cuts off the ring, trapping Whittet on the ropes.  Whittet lands a right uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Whittet tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Whittet throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Whittet lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Whittet throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Whittet knows Ainsley is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Whittet lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND AINSLEY IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Whittet lands a right hook, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING AINSLEY TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Ainsley now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Ainsley manouvers Whittet onto the ropes.  Ainsley drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Ainsley attempts to land a cross, but Whittet slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Whittet throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Whittet lands a solid cross.  
Whittet is on target with an overhand left.  
Whittet lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ainsley hits home with a cross.  Ainsley tries to land a left hook, but Whittet sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Whittet switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Ainsley recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ainsley manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Whittet is on target with a firm cross.  
Ainsley tries to step out of his opponents range.  Whittet is on target with an overhand right.  
Whittet lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Whittet lands a BRUTAL cross.  AINSLEY IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT AINSLEY CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Whittet!
