Alastair Casey vs Mark Davin

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Mariucci Arena, Minneapolis,  taking place on 07/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Minnesota Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alastair Casey (12(6) - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Mark Davin(22 - 8 - 1) from Saint Paul, USA.  Casey weighed in at 175 pounds, while Davin weighed in at 174 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Langer, and the three ringside judges are Phil Bertel, Ian Soderberg and Brad Dey.  

Round 1: 

Casey steps inside and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Casey lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Davin drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Davin throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a VICIOUS left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE DAVIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Davin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Casey gets on the inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Casey pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Casey steps inside and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Casey gets on the inside.  Davin throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Davin hits home with a left uppercut.  
Casey lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Casey forces Davin to retreat onto the ropes.  Casey is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Casey walks Davin onto the ropes.  Casey lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.

Casey lands a sharp cross.  
Davin throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a spiteful right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE DAVIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Davin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Davin throws a right hook, but Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey pushes his forearm into Davin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Casey about fouling.  
Casey lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Davin now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Casey sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Casey lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Davin is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Casey tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Davin forces Casey to retreat into the corner.  Davin drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Casey advances into close range and drives a right hook into Davin's body.  
Casey lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Casey clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Casey pushes his forearm into Davin's face.  The ref breaks Casey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Casey manages to force Davin onto the ropes.  Davin connects with a right uppercut.  
Casey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Casey lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND DROPS DAVIN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Davin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Casey lands a solid right hook.  
Casey hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Casey closes the distance and EXPLODES a VICIOUS right uppercut into his opponents face.  DAVIN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Casey!
