Felippe Carmona vs Roman Lucero

Boxing Daily Report from the Omaboe Promotions promoted show at Cainta Balaoing, Cainta,  taking place on 03/03/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Rizal Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Felippe Carmona (13 - 11 - 8) who hails from Cainta, Philippines and Roman Shotgun Lucero(56(55) - 10(7) - 1) from Rodriguez, Philippines.  Carmona weighed in at 125 pounds and 6 ounces, while Lucero weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ryo Barrera, and the three ringside judges are Lee Lumibaw, Joaquin Boljoon and Jesus Katipunan.  

Round 1: 

Lucero gets on the inside.  Lucero sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Carmona steps to the outside.  Carmona could be stopped here, if Lucero can find the right shot!  Lucero lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS CARMONA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Carmona now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Lucero advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Lucero advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Lucero lands a stinging cross.  
Lucero lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES CARMONA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Lucero steps inside and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  Lucero clinches his opponent.  Lucero pushes his forearm into Carmona's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lucero to stop fouling.  
Lucero digs in a stinging left uppercut to Carmona's body.  
Lucero lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, DROPPING CARMONA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Carmona almost instantly recovers. 
Lucero lands a stinging right hook.  CARMONA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Carmona almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lucero is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lucero digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Lucero holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lucero pushes his forearm into Carmona's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lucero.  
Lucero forces Carmona to retreat into the corner.  Lucero lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Lucero pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Carmona throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Lucero lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left uppercut's to the head.  
Lucero SLAMS a spiteful right hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE CARMONA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Carmona almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lucero digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lucero walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lucero connects with a right uppercut.  
Lucero lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Carmona's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Carmona's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Carmona's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Carmona's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Carmona now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Lucero advances into close range and is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Lucero SLAMS a nasty right hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE CARMONA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Carmona steps away from his opponent.  Lucero senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Lucero lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS CARMONA TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Lucero!
