Bruce Kimes vs Kabonesa Nalubwama

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 31/03/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bruce Kimes (59(36) - 9(6) - 3) who hails from Centennial, USA and Kabonesa Nalubwama(24 - 23(18) - 1) from Lira, Uganda.  Both Kimes and Nalubwama weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Torry, and the three ringside judges are William Shawn, Yasin Hashemi and Ricky Valle.  

Round 1: 

Kimes gets on the inside and whips in a hurtful right hook to Nalubwama's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE NALUBWAMA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Nalubwama almost instantly recovers.

Kimes manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kimes is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Nalubwama pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Nalubwama attempts to land a right hook, but Kimes slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Kimes closes the distance.  Nalubwama sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kimes drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  Kimes tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kimes is on target with a right hook to Nalubwama's ribs.  
Nalubwama tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Nalubwama is on target with a right hook.  
Nalubwama lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kimes drives a right hook into Nalubwama's ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nalubwama dabs at his face checking for damage.  Nalubwama has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Nalubwama is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Kimes closes the distance.  Nalubwama throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Kimes clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kimes pushes his forearm into Nalubwama's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nalubwama is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kimes lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Kimes advances into close range.  Nalubwama hits home with a right hook.

Kimes is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING NALUBWAMA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Nalubwama quickly recovers.

Kimes lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Nalubwama almost instantly recovers. 
Nalubwama throws a right hook, but Kimes clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kimes lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kimes lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Kimes knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Kimes lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  The winner by KO is Kimes!
