Alfonso Mirante vs Angel Ferreiro

Boxing Daily Report from the PitBulls Promotions promoted show at Maracana, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 07/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  Also on the line are the South American Welterweight and Brazil Welterweight titles.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SporTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bombardeiro Alfonso Mirante (32(21) - 1) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Angel Ferreiro(23(18) - 3) from Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Both Mirante and Ferreiro weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bronco Campos, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Maio, Rogelio Socia and Santiago Alto.
