Sajid Salem vs Haaris Khar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Perak promoted show at Ipoh Qi, Ipoh,  taking place on 06/03/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Perak Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sajid Salem (26(2) - 6) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Haaris Khar(7 - 5 - 2) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Salem weighed in at 140 pounds, while Khar weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jawad Shah, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Sylla, Haider Din and Haider Din.  

Round 1: 

Salem advances into close range.  Salem quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Salem throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Salem ties up his opponent.  Khar pushes his forearm into Salem's face.  The referee warns Khar and breaks the clinch.
