Mel Clyde vs Alen Ducat

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arkansas promoted show at Mark Cook Gym, Fayetteville,  taking place on 04/03/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Arkansas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Clyde (9 - 14(3) - 2) who hails from Fort Smith, USA and Alen Ducat(6(5) - 2(1) - 1) from Little Rock, USA.  Clyde weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces, while Ducat weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Magie, and the three ringside judges are Richard Ravens, Bryan Greeson and David Phaup.  

Round 1: 

Clyde quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ducat lands a stinging cross.  
Ducat gets on the inside.  Ducat sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ducat throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Ducat holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ducat pushes his forearm into Clyde's face.  The referee warns Ducat and breaks the clinch.  
Ducat gets on the inside and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Ducat lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ducat lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Ducat throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Ducat ties up his opponent.  Clyde pushes his forearm into Ducat's face.  The ref breaks Ducat's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Clyde's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Clyde's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
