Arran Sauerbrey vs John Spencer

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Detroit Woodford, Detroit,  taking place on 07/03/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Great Lakes Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arran Sauerbrey (18 - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and John Spencer(6 - 2(1) - 1) from Detroit, USA.  Both Sauerbrey and Spencer weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Kennan, and the three ringside judges are John Swineford, Mike Craig and Ian Duffey.  

Round 1: 

Sauerbrey switches the action to the outside.  Spencer sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sauerbrey throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Spencer hits home with a left hook.  As Spencer tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Sauerbrey.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
