Dave Hughson vs Carlos Alamillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 07/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Smooth Dave Hughson (71(57) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Oakland, USA and Carlos Alamillo(30(1) - 26(18)) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Both Hughson and Alamillo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Aybar, and the three ringside judges are Michael Torry, David Moffet and Gazi Zia.  

Round 1: 

Alamillo is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut.

Alamillo connects with a left uppercut.  Hughson holds on to his opponent.  Alamillo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Alamillo pushes his forearm into Hughson's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
