Steiner Strahm vs Roger Riley

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Tennis), Los Angeles,  taking place on 24/03/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Steiner Strahm (11(8) - 0) who hails from Dortmund, Germany and Roger Riley(32(12) - 4(4)) from New York City, USA.  Both Strahm and Riley weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Khalid Shaikh, and the three ringside judges are Peter Ardis, Bradley Eade and Seth Frith.  

Round 1: 

Riley closes the distance.  Strahm hits home with a left uppercut.

Riley forces Strahm to retreat onto the ropes.  Riley pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Riley advances into close range.  Strahm lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Riley throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Riley lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Riley advances into close range.  Strahm drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Riley cuts off the ring, trapping Strahm on the ropes.  Strahm lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Strahm tries to land a right hook, but Riley parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Strahm lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Riley walks Strahm onto the ropes.  Riley lands a stiff jab.  
Strahm tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a hard jab.  
Strahm lands a sharp cross.  Strahm attempts to land a jab, but Riley blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Strahm lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Riley's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Riley lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Riley lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Riley steps inside and throws a left hook, but Strahm ties up his opponent.  Riley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Riley.  
Strahm tries to keep the action at long range.  Riley attempts to land a jab, but Strahm sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Strahm lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Riley attempts to land a jab, but Strahm blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Riley's body.  
Strahm connects with a FEARSOME overhand right.  RILEY IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Strahm lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Strahm thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Riley away.  Strahm lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES RILEY!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Riley has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Strahm tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp jab.  Strahm throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Strahm's ribcage.

Strahm tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a DEVASTATING cross.  RILEY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE RILEY CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Strahm!
