Isidro Moraes vs Cris Canedo

Boxing Daily Report from the Micah Promotions promoted show at Fresco Pedrosa Gym, Belem,  taking place on 18/03/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Para Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Isidro Moraes (18 - 24 - 4) who hails from Belem, Brazil and Cris Canedo(3 - 1) from Belem, Brazil.  Moraes weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces, while Canedo weighed in at 174 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Marco Pupo, and the three ringside judges are Olindo Ruis, Santiago Noronha and Bronco Nora.  

Round 1: 

Canedo lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  Canedo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Canedo pushes his forearm into Moraes's face.  The ref breaks Canedo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
