Nathan Cadenhead vs Orlando Barretto

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 18/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nathan The Machine Cadenhead (32(28) - 3) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Orlando Barretto(36(17) - 19(16)) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Both Cadenhead and Barretto weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Cody Bustamante, Cruz Arebalo and Bruce Elias.  

Round 1: 

Barretto tries to land a cross, but Cadenhead slips the shot and counters with a FEROCIOUS cross.  BARRETTO IS HURT!  
Cadenhead is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Cadenhead lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS BARRETTO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.

Barretto walks Cadenhead down, trapping him in the corner.  Barretto throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a ramrod jab.

Barretto advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Barretto attempts to land a left hook, but Cadenhead blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Cadenhead steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Barretto lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cadenhead attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Barretto's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Barretto hits home with a cross.  
Barretto lands a left hook.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Barretto lands with a ramrod jab.  Barretto throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to Barretto's ribs.  
Barretto closes the distance.  Cadenhead hits home with a left hook.

Cadenhead is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Cadenhead is looking to force the stoppage!  Cadenhead SLAMS a spiteful cross into his opponents face.  BARRETTO IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Barretto has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Barretto lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Barretto walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Barretto digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep his distance.  Barretto tries to land a jab, but Cadenhead slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cadenhead pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Barretto lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Barretto advances into close range.  Cadenhead sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cadenhead throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Cadenhead tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Barretto steps inside and manages to force Cadenhead onto the ropes.  Barretto lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Barretto tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a weighty cross.  BARRETTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Cadenhead could be enough to finish Barretto!  Cadenhead lands a cross, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS BARRETTO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Barretto now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Cadenhead switches the action to the outside.  Barretto lands a jab.  
Cadenhead lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS BARRETTO!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Cadenhead!
