Gervasio Montoya vs Santiago Rivero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Atlantico promoted show at Barranquilla Salcedo, Barranquilla,  taking place on 24/03/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Colombia-Atlantico Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gervasio Montoya (14(1) - 2) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Santiago Rivero(8 - 8(1) - 2) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Both Montoya and Rivero weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Salvador Sanches, and the three ringside judges are Vidal Casillas, Vidal Casillas and Alejandro Sarmiento.

Montoya switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Rivero.  That has caused a bad cut above the right eye.  .

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Montoya dabs at his face checking for damage.
