Mitsuru Sugihara vs Jun Kurokawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Kei Kubo Gym, Asahikawa,  taking place on 29/03/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mitsuru Sugihara (2 - 2) who hails from Hakodate, Japan and Jun Kurokawa(18 - 11(1) - 3) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Sugihara and Kurokawa weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Tanaka, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Nishikawa, Satoru Yasui and Hisoka Tani.  

Round 1: 

Sugihara throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kurokawa steps to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Sugihara sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sugihara closes the distance and forces Kurokawa to back into a corner.  Sugihara hits home with a right uppercut.
