Jesus Vallez vs Montel Ruano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Puebla promoted show at Manjimela Gym, Puebla,  taking place on 30/03/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jesus Vallez (16(6) - 4(1)) who hails from Tehuacan, Mexico and Montel Ruano(8 - 21(1) - 3) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Vallez and Ruano weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jaguar Galdamez, and the three ringside judges are Diego Cuellar, Senon Simeon and Fanuco Barrera.  

Round 1: 

Vallez advances into close range.  Vallez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Vallez pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Vallez is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Vallez lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ruano recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
