Ivan Danon vs Montenegro Cuadrado

Boxing Daily Report from the Mashaba Promotions promoted show at Francisco Murga Gym, Managua,  taking place on 29/03/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ivan Danon (4 - 0) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Montenegro Cuadrado(5 - 0) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Danon and Cuadrado weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aimon Cortinas, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo San Angelo, Antonio Quintero and Alvino Albo.  

Round 1: 

Danon steps inside.  Cuadrado is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Danon is on target with a solid cross.  
Cuadrado is looking to close the distance.  Danon goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Cuadrado's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Cuadrado is on target with a right hook to Danon's ribs.  
Danon steps away from his opponent.  Cuadrado lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Danon is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Cuadrado advances into close range.  Danon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cuadrado digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  As Cuadrado tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Danon.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Danon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cuadrado tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Danon drives a left hook into Cuadrado's body.  
Danon steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Danon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Danon attempts to land a left hook, but Cuadrado blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Cuadrado manouvers Danon onto the ropes.  Cuadrado quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Danon attempts to land a right hook, but Cuadrado blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Danon.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Danon's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Cuadrado's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Danon switches the action to the outside.  Cuadrado is on target with a firm overhand left.  
Danon drives a right uppercut into Cuadrado's body.  
Danon steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Cuadrado lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Danon steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Cuadrado quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cuadrado tries to land a left hook, but Danon parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cuadrado walks Danon onto the ropes.  Danon connects with a left hook.  
Cuadrado lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Cuadrado steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
As Danon tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
