Robert Kombo vs Banji Kagwe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Rasheed, Mombasa,  taking place on 02/04/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Mombasa Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Kombo (6 - 0) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Banji Kagwe(17 - 14(2)) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Kombo weighed in at 115 pounds, while Kagwe weighed in at 114 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Connor Kamau, and the three ringside judges are Jay Matiku, Nwa Lugano and Sam Yiampoy.  

Round 1: 

Kombo is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kombo dabs at his face checking for damage.
