Joey Saam vs Diego Hernandez

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at California Memorial Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 02/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Big Bam Saam (64(59) - 2(1)) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Diego Hernandez(44(32) - 18(15)) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Saam and Hernandez weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Hemming, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Valdivia, Zafa Rafiq and Edward Fernandez.  

Round 1: 

Saam steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Saam clinches his opponent.  Hernandez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Saam's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
