Lisandro Arce vs Mel Buchanan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Discoteca Hangar 27, Tijuana,  taking place on 12/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lisandro Arce (11(9) - 0) who hails from Tlaquepaque, Mexico and Mel Buchanan(1 - 1 - 1) from Henderson, USA.  Arce weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces, while Buchanan weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Barrantes, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Castellanos, Cris Coito and Hernan Rosas.  

Round 1: 

Arce is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Buchanan almost instantly gets his legs back.

Arce steps inside and connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Arce tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Arce lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Buchanan lands a jab.  
Arce steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Arce clinches his opponent.  Arce pushes his forearm into Buchanan's face.  The ref breaks Arce's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Arce is on target with a cross.  
Arce is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Buchanan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Arce is on target with a solid right hook to Buchanan's ribs.  
Arce gets on the inside.  Arce sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Arce lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Arce holds on to his opponent.  Arce is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Arce is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Arce is on target with a spiteful left hook.  BUCHANAN IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Buchanan now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Arce lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Arce closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Arce holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Arce pushes his forearm into Buchanan's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Arce.  
Arce lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Arce lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Arce gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Buchanan throws a left hook, but Arce ties up his opponent.  Arce pushes his forearm into Buchanan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Arce about fouling.  
Arce advances into close range and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Arce lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Arce lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Arce clinches his opponent.  Arce leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Arce walks Buchanan into the corner.  Arce is on target with a left uppercut.  
Arce lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BUCHANAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Arce!
