Ewan Bankes vs John Neaves

Boxing Daily Report from the The 478 Fight Club Productions promoted show at Bimi Gym, Atlanta,  taking place on 05/04/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Bankes (29(7) - 10(9) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Atlanta, USA and John Neaves(6 - 15(1) - 2) from Atlanta, USA.  Both Bankes and Neaves weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Wilk, and the three ringside judges are Rob Steen, Dave Goodlett and Jacob Quigley.  

Round 1: 

Bankes pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Bankes advances into close range.  Bankes pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Bankes lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bankes pivots to the right of his opponent.  Bankes tries to land a jab, but Neaves slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bankes advances into close range.  Bankes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Neaves tries to land a left hook, but Bankes blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Bankes pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.

Bankes leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Neaves tries to tag Bankes on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
