Ashley Murdock vs Chris Barland

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Grand Rapids Napier, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 07/04/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashley Murdock (5 - 5 - 3) who hails from Warren, USA and Chris Barland(3 - 22 - 5) from Grand Rapids, USA.  Murdock weighed in at 167 pounds, while Barland weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Padon, and the three ringside judges are Ian Duffey, Phil Boydston and Leon Russell.  

Round 1: 

Barland lands a cross.  
Murdock digs in a left hook to Barland's body.  
Barland pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.
