Kenzie Porteous vs Mark Edwards

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 31/03/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Kenzie Porteous (5(3) - 0) who hails from Vaughan, Canada and Mark Edwards(2 - 1) from London, Canada.  Both Porteous and Edwards weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Girardot, and the three ringside judges are Neville Bazil, Gerard Segalen and Mason Leblanc.  

Round 1: 

Porteous steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Porteous ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Porteous pushes his forearm into Edwards's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Porteous about fouling.  
Porteous closes the distance.  Edwards throws a right hook, but Porteous clinches his opponent.  Porteous tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Edwards's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Porteous feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Edwards tries to step out of his opponents range.  Porteous lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Porteous is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  Porteous ties up his opponent.  Porteous pushes his forearm into Edwards's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Porteous about fouling.
