Irfan Wassan vs Alen Shaheen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Amon Akaranga Gym, Kangundo-Tala,  taking place on 09/04/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Machakos Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Irfan Wassan (10 - 5 - 5) who hails from Machakos, Kenya and Alen Shaheen(8 - 6 - 2) from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya.  Wassan weighed in at 126 pounds, while Shaheen weighed in at 126 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Shaheen came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jamar Kosgei, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Wanja, Imran Rahman and Yobachi Kimanthi.
