Rocco Catanoso vs Harvey Broadfoot

Boxing Daily Report from the International Boxing Fight League promoted show at Chiles Center, Portland,  taking place on 05/05/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rocking Rocco Catanoso (25(9) - 8(7) - 1) who hails from Genoa, Italy and Harvey Broadfoot(5 - 6) from Salem, USA.  Catanoso weighed in at 249 pounds And 15 ounces, while Broadfoot weighed in at 258 pounds.  
The referee tonight is William Terrace, and the three ringside judges are Joe Rainey, James Mardock and Theo Wight.  

Round 1: 

Catanoso tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand right.  
Broadfoot closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Catanoso ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Catanoso pushes his forearm into Broadfoot's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Catanoso about fouling.  
Broadfoot hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
Catanoso lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Catanoso lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Broadfoot has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Catanoso pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Catanoso is on target with a sharp left hook.

Broadfoot gets on the inside.  Catanoso drives a firm left uppercut into Broadfoot's body.  Catanoso clinches his opponent.  Catanoso throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Catanoso to stop fouling.  
Catanoso pivots to the left of his opponent.  Catanoso is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  Catanoso clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Broadfoot pushes his forearm into Catanoso's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Broadfoot.  
Broadfoot drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Catanoso is looking to close the distance and drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Broadfoot connects with a stinging cross.  
Catanoso is looking to close the distance.  Catanoso pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Catanoso pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Catanoso lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Catanoso pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Catanoso pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Broadfoot's body.  
Catanoso steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Broadfoot almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Catanoso sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Broadfoot's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Broadfoot's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Broadfoot's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
